Intentional psilocybin microdosing formulas, grown in Canada with craft cultivation methods built over a decade. Ancient knowledge. Modern practice.
Humans have worked with psilocybin for thousands of years. The Tassili cave paintings — some of the oldest art on earth — show our ancestors in relationship with mushrooms. That relationship didn't end. It just got buried under a century of fear.
Natural Mystic exists to bring it back. Not as a trend, not as a biohack — as a practice. Something you return to, build with, and grow through. Something your body already knows how to do.
Our storyFour formulas. Each named for what it opens in you — not what's in the capsule.
Not a high. Not a trip. A sub-perceptual shift — small enough that you can work, parent, create, and show up fully. Large enough that it matters.
Most people describe the first weeks not as feeling something new, but as feeling more like themselves. Less static. More present. The version of you that you recognise from your best days.
Read the full protocolThe Tassili n'Ajjer cave paintings in Algeria are among the oldest art on earth. Painted around 7,000 BCE, the shaman figure surrounded by mushrooms isn't a curiosity — it's evidence. Evidence that our relationship with psilocybin predates every religion, every government, every pharmaceutical industry that ever tried to suppress it.
"We didn't discover anything. We remembered something."
This figure is our logo. Not as mysticism — as context. A reminder that what you're choosing when you choose intentional practice is older and more human than anyone who ever told you it was dangerous.
A capsule without intention is just a capsule. The protocol — the schedule, the journal, the integration — is what turns microdosing into a practice. We give you both.
Real accounts from people building intentional practices. Unedited. Honest. Theirs.

Write to usMicrodosing done well requires more than a capsule. We've built a free education library — science, protocols, dosing guides, and integration tools — because we'd rather you understand the practice than just try the product.

No high. No hallucinations. No lost hours. A sub-perceptual shift — small enough to function fully, meaningful enough to change how you function. Here is everything we know.
Microdosing means taking a sub-perceptual dose of psilocybin — typically 75mg to 150mg — on a regular schedule, with intention. Sub-perceptual means you don't feel high. You don't hallucinate. You don't lose function. The dose is small enough that you can work, parent, create, and show up fully while something subtle shifts in the background.
The most commonly reported effects include improved focus, emotional regulation, creative thinking, reduced anxiety, and a general sense of groundedness. These effects don't happen immediately and they don't happen the same way for everyone. That's why protocol matters — and why we give you one.
Psilocybin supports neuroplasticity: the brain's ability to form new neural pathways and break old patterns. Research from Johns Hopkins and Imperial College London has shown that even sub-perceptual doses can have meaningful effects on mood, cognition, and emotional resilience over time. This is not folklore. It is emerging science with thousands of years of human experience behind it.
The Fadiman Protocol is where we recommend everyone begins. Day on, two days off — named after Dr. James Fadiman, whose decade of self-report research established the modern framework for intentional microdosing. Rest days prevent tolerance and allow integration: the time your system needs to absorb what the dose initiated.
The Stamets Stack — developed by mycologist Paul Stamets — pairs psilocybin with lion's mane and niacin (vitamin B3). The niacin creates a flushing effect that is believed to drive the psilocybin and lion's mane compounds deeper into the nervous system. It's our Deep Root formula and it's designed for those who want to go further into the neurogenesis work.
The intuitive protocol — dosing when called rather than on a fixed schedule — is for practitioners who already know their baseline and trust their read on their own system. Not where we recommend starting.
Before you begin: Set an intention — not a goal. Write it down. Start a journal. You're looking for patterns over time, not dramatic daily changes.
Week 1 — Establishing baseline. Dose, rest, rest, dose, rest, rest, dose. Observe without expectation. Journal prompt: "What did today feel like? What did I notice that I usually miss?"
Week 2 — Finding the signal. Shifts begin — sometimes on dose days, sometimes on rest days. Improved sleep, more patience, a subtle ease in tasks you usually resist. Don't adjust your dose yet. Prompt: "What changed this week, even slightly?"
Week 3 — Integration. Cumulative effects show as patterns of behaviour. Assess your dose if needed. One change at a time. Prompt: "Where am I showing up differently?"
Week 4 — Reflection. Write a full reflection — what shifted, what surprised you, what you'd do differently. This becomes your baseline. Prompt: "What do I know now that I didn't 30 days ago?"
Every ingredient in every Natural Mystic formula is grown in Canada, at small scale, with craft cultivation methods built over more than a decade. Nothing imported. Nothing we can't account for.
The foundation of every Natural Mystic formula. Golden Teacher is the most widely used and studied psilocybin strain in the microdosing community — known for a warm, clear, emotionally open experience that doesn't overwhelm.
We grow Golden Teacher in Canada using sterile small-batch cultivation techniques. Fruiting body only — no mycelium on grain, no imported cultures, no shortcuts. Cultured from domestic tissue and grown in controlled conditions refined over a decade.
The most researched functional mushroom for cognitive support. Lion's mane stimulates Nerve Growth Factor synthesis — the mechanism behind neuroplasticity, the formation of new neural pathways, and long-term cognitive resilience.
Paired with psilocybin in our Bright Mind, Clear Sight, and Deep Root formulas, lion's mane amplifies the neurogenic effects of the practice. Grown in Canada on hardwood substrate. Fruiting body only.
Studied for its role in ATP production and mitochondrial function — the cellular energy mechanisms that support physical recovery and sustained output. In Still Water, cordyceps works alongside psilocybin to support the body's overnight repair and daytime drive.
We grow cordyceps militaris from domestic tissue culture in Canada in small-batch controlled conditions — one of relatively few Canadian operations producing this at therapeutic consistency.
A decade of growing mushrooms. A lifetime of knowing this medicine matters. Natural Mystic is what happens when a serious cultivator decides to stop waiting for the market to catch up.
I've had my hands in substrate for over a decade.
I started as a cultivator — not a brand founder. A serious interest in what fungi are capable of and a need to understand them from the ground up. I learned contamination management before I learned marketing. I learned how organisms grow before I learned how to sell them.
Over the years, that work became a serious small-scale operation — cordyceps militaris, lion's mane, oyster varieties, grain spawn production, consulting for commercial Canadian farms. The work is slow and specific. Mushrooms don't rush, and the people who grow them well tend to learn that patience from the fungi themselves.
Natural Mystic came out of one simple observation: the people selling psilocybin products mostly don't grow them.
They source. They encapsulate. They add a logo and a philosophy. Some of them do it well. But none of them have what I have — a decade of cultivation knowledge, complete supply chain control, and the specific expertise of someone who has watched these organisms grow from inoculation to harvest.
Everything we sell is grown in Canada, at small scale, with craft practices that take time and attention most commercial operations won't spend. When you buy from Natural Mystic, I know exactly where what's in your capsule came from — because I grew it.
The Tassili n'Ajjer cave paintings in Algeria — some of the oldest art on earth, painted roughly 9,000 years ago — show our ancestors in relationship with mushrooms. The shaman figure surrounded by fungi is our logo. Not as mysticism. As a reminder that this knowledge is older than the fear of it.
We didn't invent anything. We found our way back to something that was always there.
